08.12.04 Student Steel Award 2008 WINNER
I have won the student Steel Award 2008 with my master project "Science Park Waterschei".

Motivatie van de jury: In dit ontwerp is veel aandacht besteed aan de context. Er is op een creatieve en innovatieve manier omgegaan met ruimte. Ook voor de kwaliteit van de plannen van dit integrale en complete project had de jury veel appreciatie.

The jury's motivation: a lot of thought was put in the design's context. The use of space was innovative and speaks of great creativity. The jury was also impressed with the high quality of the plans of the project as a whole.


08.11.29 Student Steel Award 2008 NOMINEE
I just found out that I am selected nominee for the Belgian Student Steel Award 2008, which will be awarded on Thursday the 4th of December.

08.10.25 EAP : Euregional Prize for Architecture 2008
On november 8th, I will be participating in the EAP contest with my master project "Science Park Waterschei". My project page on the official site can be seen here.

8 november will actually be the day of the Awarding Ceremony. Afterwards, the exhibition can be visited from november 10th till december 12th, at Elfde Liniestraat 25, building C, Hasselt, Belgium.



08.08.24 A new chapter, a new website
I graduated some months ago now. And I thought that this was the perfect time for a new website.

This site has been online for one year now. And I thought that it was time for another layout, with a different approach. I have dropped the horizontal allignment, returning to the vertical pagination. The menu has changed into the central core of the site : a mosaic for the main page, and the same buttons repeated at the top of each section.

I have also changed some sections. The projects remain my core business. 3D visuals and web design are my other professional passions. Art holds a mixture of professional pieces and just stuff that I made as an artistic approach. Since art was (and will always be) my first passion, I try not to neglect it. Photography is the newest section. I don't pretend to be knowing anything about the subject, but I try and learn.
